About Pamela Ruth Baillie-Johnson

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).  My aim is to provide clients with a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space to address issues that are preventing them from experiencing life more fully and with greater satisfacton.  I have extensive training in working with PTSD, attachment issues, various forms of trauma (early childhood abuse/neglect, physical/sexual assault, generational/collective trauma, car accidents) and Borderline Personality Disorder.  I also am interested in working with individuals who experience depression, dissociation, anxiety/panic, shame, grief and loss, as well as other general life issues.  I use a variety of modalities to help client's in their journey to heal and grow including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  As a Certified Daring Way (TM) Facilitator, I love the work of Brene Brown and enjoy leading Daring Way (TM) and Rising Strong (TM) groups exploring the physics of shame and vulnerability as well as the process of Rising Strong (TM) when we fall.

Pam earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, Superior, majoring in Business Administration and Psychology.  She received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Bethel College.  Pam received certification through the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute (SETI) as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and certification as a Certified Daring Way (TM) Facilitator through the Daring Way (TM).  Pam provides Assistant services through SETI for Beginning and Intermediate levels of SE and Provider services for Beginning levels of SE.
