About Kathryn Pallakoff
Kathryn is an advanced bodytherapist, practicing since 1994. She integrates somatic trauma resolution with specialized body therapies (see her website for further descriptions).
Our bodies contain all our stories, everything we have ever experienced. Physical and emotional restrictions or knots are places we have braced against fluid movement. By unwinding or “untying” those knots, we free up our life force. Our deepest constrictions hold the potential for our greatest expansions. Kathryn enjoys helping clients find movement, both physically and emotionally. She guides them to discover experientially how emotional and nervous system bracing get stuck in the body. As awareness increases of unconscious holding patterns, clients are empowered to let them go and have lasting relief.
In addition to advanced bodywork, she's certified in the following trainings which specialize in healing developmental trauma: NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), a two year post SE training; Bodynamic Somatic Developmental Psychology Foundation Training; and Kathy Kain's Somatic Resilience and Regulation after Early Trauma.
