About Maria Grazia Di Giorgio
In this work, which I love, I see my role fundamentally as that of an ally for each person's unique and innate self-actualizing and healing potential.
In line with my personal life experience as a multicultural person, my clinical approach has developed through the integration of different psychological traditions: Jung’s Analytical Psychology, the Eastern contemplative tradition better known today in the West as “Mindfulness”, and Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing approach.
I feel that this extensive and varied experience allows me today to take into account in a truly holistic way the interplay of physical, emotional, cognitive, imaginal and spiritual variables that can impact a person’s wellbeing, and to provide specific interventions drawn from each of those approaches.
