About Margaret Rosenau, M.A.

I maintain a private practice in Boulder, Colorado providing primarily SE and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Polarity Therapy and Pre and Perinatal sessions to people of all ages and backgrounds. I hold a Master’s degree in Gerontology and am  a graduate of Ray Castellino's Pre and Perinatal Therapy training. I have intentionally sought out training about both ends of life’s spectrum in order to better support people at all stages of life to access their gifts and resiliency. As an SE practitioner and have supported clients with all kinds of physical and emotional traumas. I have specific extensive experience with auto accidents and other accidents and medical traumas, chronic sexual and emotional abuse, traumatic or complex birth histories, death and grief processes and boundary violations / repair. I have worked with children and adults of all ages. As a gerontologist, I also welcome the opportunity to support people who are dealing with the trauma and confusion of an aging parent or spouse. I am also the owner of the School of Inner Health currently based in Colorado Springs where I teach Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I have over 15 years of experience with SE and bodywork both in combination and separately.

I see Trauma as a great amnesiac. Trauma can make us forget our strengths and capacities so thoroughly that it can seem that we only have memories and experiences of pain and challenge. Trauma can freeze and shrink our worlds in destructive ways that we can feel powerless to change. SE is powerful because it can broaden our horizons and rehydrate our memories. I love helping people re-member the health and capacity that trauma has obscured and in the process become stronger and more human.  I love helping people access their resources and strengths and rediscover their courage and curiosity. I love supporting change and transformation and new possibilities. I am awed by the tenacity of resiliency and the power of intention and differentiation. I have seen the unchangeable change. I have watched the past become the past and the present become more vibrant and alive. I have had the honor of supporting people to find more safety and capacity now. I have seen in my own life and the lives of many clients how the story can rest once it has been told to someone who feels it and receives it and holds it with respect and care. I am very interested in helping people to access their resiliency so that they can begin to have new stories to tell,  stories of their capacity to thrive beyond adversity, stories of who they are becoming as their challenges find new ways of being and transform from wounds into tools and challenges into capacities.
