About Marty Wolins
Marty has 20 years of experience providing a safe and nurturing environment for healing. She believes it is never too late to heal, and true learning of oneself comes from within.
Marty is a Facilitator for the Epona style of Equine Assisted Learning, a Somatic Experiencing™ Practitioner, a Certified Craniosacral Therapist, a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner, a Licensed Massage Therapist, an Usui and Karuna Reiki Master, and a Level One Aromatherapist.
She has a B.S. in Computer Science and German, and worked 15 years in the CIA. Fascinated by the healing process, she left technology to work with people, and graduated from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology with a master’s degree focusing on mind-body consciousness and using creative expression to identify the authentic self. Marty provided therapy services to around 350 hospice patients and their families, supporting them during times of emotional and physical difficulty. She put complementary therapy techniques in the hands of staff and families, and presented at elder care conferences at the local, state, and national levels.
Marty works with adults that have experienced childhood trauma, people with physical injuries including concussions, and people that are facing grief and loss. Sessions via Zoom videoconferencing are also available. She feels blessed to be a part of the SE community and appreciates the gentleness and organic unfolding of this approach to resolving trauma.
