About Michele L. Gerard Ph.D.
I am a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience providing collaborative/compassionate care and evaluation for those who have survived adverse life events/trauma; have relationship issues; nervous system regulation challenges including ADHD, bipolar, high-functioning autism/developmental disorders, post-concussion, atypical seizures; toxic exposure; multiple medical syndromes including migraine, IBS, reflux, and chronic pain; low working memory/learning output; hypersensitivity and distractibility; productivity and life satisfaction challenges; grief/loss; divorce; step-parenting; fertility; adoption; stress reduction including surgery/medical-dental procedure preparation and support; and spirituality in children, adolescents and adults.
I also offer comprehensive case management services so as to coordinate your care and speed your improvement. I am dedicated to getting you back on your feet, resourced and resilient as soon as possible. I am continually upgrading my skills (I am also trained in Brainspotting, and Attachment theory interventions) and draw from a wide variety of techniques. I am EMDR Level II trained and have also been trained in Mel Levines A Mind at a Time approach.
I put a high priority on seeing you for who you are and setting up evaluation and treatment that will address your goals and what you want for your life. Together we gather a lot of information to help gain perspective on your life so as to better inform our treatment choices.
I also offer a full range of neuropsychological services (evaluating thinking skills), if needed, including comprehensive assessment (if we know how you are doing, we can better determine how to get you to where you want to be!) and treatment planning).
I invite you to visit my website at www.MicheleGerardPhD.com for further information about my training/experience and the philosophy of my practice. There is also further information on my phone message at 303 939-9650.
