About Catherine Jean Lemon
Catherine Lemon is a certified Somatic Practitioner and personal coach working with adults and children who have conflicts around shock trauma, developmental trauma, as well as sexuality and relational issues. Her gift is her keen sensitivity, and ability to create a safe and attuned environment for her clients to have deep healing and trauma resolution. She combines her intuitive style with the touch work and movement to help clients self regulate and stabilize their nervous systems.
Catherine has 35-years of experience working as an educator, body worker and life coach. She started out in the field of Early Childhood Development and holds a Montessori credential from the Maria Montessori Teaching Center in San Francisco. She became a certified life coach in 1979 through Dr. Cherie Carter Scott's MMS training.
Catherine completed her training as a certified Therapeutic Massage Practitioner in 1991 and had a private practice in the Bay Area for six years. Concurrently she studied and practiced Feldenkrais movement in a dance group in the Bay Area for ten years.
Catherine is a senior teaching assistant in Somatic Experiencing trainings in Northern California, Australia and Korea. Additionally, she has participated in workshops with Twig Wheeler and Ray Castellino's Womb Surround Process workshops, and has assisted in Attachment Wound Healing, Pre and Perinatal, and Sexual Embodiment workshops with Ariel Giarretto. She has a private practice in Sebastopol.
