About Christine Hakkola

Christine Hakkola is a Registered Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor, SE practitioner & assistant, and certified Life Coach. She works remotely via online video/phone with individuals and couples across Canada and the US. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Queen’s University in 2002, and her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in 2015. Christine works in private practice supporting a wide variety of adults and young adults, individuals, couples and families, with a focus on relationship issues, anxiety, panic attacks, grief, depression, attachment issues, and trauma. Christine draws upon cognitive, emotional and body-centered methods such as Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, yoga, and spirituality to provide a holistic approach to healing.
