About Marych O'Sullivan-Sanford
I have been in Private Practice, with Adults and Adolescents, since 1990. My work covers the many existential challenges of being human at this present time including depression, alienation, self esteem, self confidence, self worth and belonging. For a number of years I worked, paralell to my Private Practice, as the Psychotherapist on the Palliative Care Team of University College Hospital Galway. I was called in on an 'ad hoc' basis and available freely to the 'public', non fee paying, patient. I experienced the value of presence while in this role. My Private Practice has been rejuvenated by the wonderful SE/OI Training we received from Steve Hoskinson in Northern Ireland, courtesy of ISE (Ireland Somatic Experiencing), graduating in 2015. This learning is being 'bedded in' with my present Assistanship on the current ISE training in Northern Ireland, which will finish in 2017. We have had the privelege of working with Linda Stelte and look forward to working for the Advanced with Berns Galloway. For a more comprehensive biography please see my website under 'About me'. There too, you will find a fuller description of my qualifications, trainings and experience.
