About Lori Clarke
Lori received her MA Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (1995).
Lori works with a range of clients who have faced challenging and traumatic experiences, those who are bereaved and those suffering from different kinds of losses- from the loss of a loved one, to relationship loss, career transition and health-related transitions.
Lori's work draws on psycho-dynamic, and narrative approaches to counselling, skills-building, body-centred practices, and spiritual care. In 2014, Lori completed a grief and bereavement focused internship through the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) at Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Services, Eastern Health. Lori is a Certified Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, a member of the Association of Canadian Naturopaths and Naturotherapists and a Interdisciplinary Doctoral Candidate at Memorial University of Newfoundland where she is investigating how experiences related to climate change affect persons and nervous systems.
