About Roger Saint-Laurent
Holding the space, respecting the depths, learning not to fear them. Holding steady in the midst of the tempest, well anchored and feeling safe enough. Safe enough to free oneself of the past's chains. Safe enough to experience true freedom of being. Listening to the heart, the body, and the soul. Moving further, growing taller, allowing oneself to feel, experience, and surrender for the best good of all.
The question is not whether I have been where you have been, shared the same events and experiences, but rather whether I have been where you want to go and can guide you in finding your way there. Im not afraid to go to the depths of the experience, helping you to go to those depths if you choose to, always respectful of what you want and the pace at which you heal.
I have had a life-long interest in understanding people, their culture, and what makes their lives what they are. My academic career began in social and cultural anthropology and my personal journey includes the experience of immigration and learning to live in a second language, which gives me particular sensitivity to cross-cultural issues and the formation of one's complex and true identity. I am an Assistant at SE trainings and am an Approved Session Provider for personal sessions for students at the Intermediate level.
I have a second office in Briarcliff Manor, New York.
