About Ewa Lawresh

Ewa has a private practice where she brings a unique perspective to her work, incorporating the study of both Eastern and Western modalities. She has been a body-mind practitioner for over 10 years, using the Feldenkrais Method and Movement Intelligence - focusing on the relationship between movement and awareness, and increasing creativity with accompanying physical improvements. With Somatic Experiencing and Integral Somatic Psychology she combines her intuitive style with touch work and movement, focusing on early and complex trauma that can be accessed through touch. She has a wide scope of experience in facilitating the healing process of adults, adolescents, children and couples and has worked with diverse groups of people in a variety of settings through private practice and hospitals. She works with children with special needs, as cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, dyslexia, blindness and epilepsy. Her experience includes also clients struggling with substance abuse and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Her trauma work includes assisting survivors of sexual abuse in developing healthy sexuality as an important aspect of trauma healing and recovery. Ewa has completed Dr. Diane Poole Heller's DARe certification training (Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning Experience), which is an interactive somatic attachment program on healing attachment wounds. Ewa has specific interests in neuroscience, neuroplasticity, body-oriented psychotherapy, and mindfulness. Ewa is a Member of the British Neuroscience Association. Her therapeutic approach is informed by clinical applications of neuroscience research. Ewa is assisting in SE and ISP trainings.
