About Masha Serdyukova

I believe that every individual has the answers they seek within them; often, though, they need the right questions to be asked or a signal that it is safe for them to look inside. Frequently, these individuals are seeking to change the anxiety and/or depression they experience, the chronic pain they feel, habits or thought patterns that are preventing them from being their best selves, and other issues they want to let go of such as addiction or obsessive thoughts. For me, it is an honor to be involved in that process. Creating personal change can take many forms: sometimes amusing, other times messy or unpleasant, yet always powerful. And it is my priority to cultivate a relationship that can adapt to, and contain whatever way growth will come. Supporting my client's autonomy and individuality is the root of the work we do... and the fruit is the vision they have of their most liberated and actualized self. I combine a variety of identity affirming, trauma informed and body centered approaches to achieve the goals set out by the individuals I work with. I am also an intermediate level Somatic Experiencing practitioner. My work has centered on promoting the healing of the LGBTQIA+ community, first and second generation immigrants, elders, folks in non-traditional relationships, people impacted by the prison industrial complex, social justice activists, and anyone who feels the trauma of everyday life.
