About Bridget Haren
!990 I began my counseling career in Clare Haven Services in Ennis, working with women and children in domestic abuse situations, supporting them to make better choices.
2002 I got my degree in Person Centered psychotherapy and counseling, becoming an accredited member of IACP. My work and life is informed by my mindfulness and meditation practice, and I believe in the intelligence of the body to heal. I trust the wisdom of the body to guide that process and I see trauma resolution as a part of the awakening and healing process.
I am an accredited Life coach, mentor and personal development teacher. I recieved my SEP Certification following the 3 year Post Graduate Trauma Training run by Ireland SE, in Corrymeela, Ballycastle,Northern Ireland in 2017.
Currently I work part time as a psychotherapist with Slainte An Chlair Organisation. I offer support to patients and their families living with cancer, Terminal illness and cronic pain. I work part time in Galway with Pro-Consul, a counselling organisation offering psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples. I also have a small Private Practice in both Individual Psychotherapy and Clinical Supervision.
