About Yvette Erasmus
Sharing who we are, how we feel, what we are thinking, and what we are discovering about ourselves is one of our deepest human needs. I provide a place where you are deeply known, deeply accepted and deeply challenged to increase your vitality, self-acceptance and well-being.
We all need a witness, a person who can listen without judgment while asking questions, directing our attention and providing counsel to illuminate our way. Therapy emerges within a collaborative relationship in which we work together toward a fuller understanding and body-based experience of yourself and the struggles you are facing. Often the underlying source of our suffering lies beneath our awareness and working together we can uncover the patterns that may be holding you back from leading the kind of life you desire.
Drawing from integral, psychodynamic and humanistic therapy approaches, we will work together to understand the root cause of your problems, connect with and process emotions, sensations and memories, address current issues with long-lasting strategies and help you get closer to the life you’ve always wanted.
